TypeSafe AI: the company behind the Jev model

The vendor and an independent portal

TypeSafe AI develops Jev. JEV.sk is a separate information project that explains the model, collects sources and prepares practical how-tos. It does not cooperate with TypeSafe AI and does not represent it.

The official team page lists the founders Diogo Almeida (CEO), Sasha Sheng (COO) and Erik Gafni (CTO). Their profiles describe experience in AI research and production systems. S11

Funding and launch

On 15 September 2026, the investor DCVC announced that it is leading a $40 million seed investment in TypeSafe AI; the transaction is also confirmed by the legal adviser on the deal, Wilson Sonsini. Jev’s launch blog post is dated the same day. S19 S31 S10

Funding is not revenue. A founder’s résumé is not an independent test of the model. On JEV.sk, we do not mix up these categories. We do not state revenue, company valuation or ownership structure, because we have not verified them from primary sources.

An ecosystem without false partnerships

Vercel has published its own data on the rapid adoption of Jev in AI Gateway. S21 Availability in a catalog or an integration does not mean that JEV.sk is a partner of the company in question. Without an agreement, we will not use partner badges or write “official representative.”

Editorial rule

We record important company events with the announcement date and the source. Promises of future features are labeled as plans. We do not attribute our own proposals for products or site features to the vendor.
