Dated pricing
As of 23 September 2026, the TypeSafe documentation lists Jev 1.13 (jev-1.13.0) at $0.042 per million input tokens, with output free of charge. The direct API allows 64,000 tokens in total, with at most 32,000 for the state plus the longest question. The stated operational limits of 250,000 tokens/s and 1,200 requests/min may change. The input is text. S01
Your own calculation
number of calls × average input tokens ÷ 1,000,000 × rate
For 100,000 calls averaging 2,000 input tokens, the arithmetic estimate is $8.40. One million calls of 1,000 tokens each comes to $42. These are illustrative volumes, not measurements of traffic or of the actual usage of any particular online shop.
Include the entire input in your estimate, not just the customer’s sentence. Long instructions and category descriptions can make up most of the request. A budget for the whole solution should also cover retries, other models, human review and infrastructure.
Different distribution channels
The OpenRouter catalog lists the same unit rate and a context of 32,000 tokens. Do not automatically assume that the direct API’s limits apply to another service. S16
The JEV.sk calculator works in USD; it does not pretend to apply a live exchange rate. It shows the number of calls and the tokens separately. A low price is not proof that a result is correct.
